5/21/07 [final show of semester]

yeah! last show. however, what SUCKED was the fact that my 2.004 final actually went into the show time, and I was unable to switch with anyone, so basically the final ended at 4:30 and i *ran* to the station and managed to play a few songs, but it was really sad :( i would have liked to have done something cool for the final show. sigh. another instance of suckage was the fact that my dad was driving into boston at about this time, and turned on the radio only to hear the show *after* me, which was only about 20 mins long, so basically he barely missed hearing me live on the radio [not streaming]. it still kills me.

Oh yeah and all of these songs were ones that helped me to study for finals. Etc.

this show was extra-special and awesome because it featured Hook Heavy's first live guest, Sarah Dupuis, who performed and spoke on behalf of her band Kc Quilty. Very exciting! I think she did like 4 or 5 songs spread out over the show. This was a lot of fun, if anyone would like a copy of it let me know. And THANKS to Sarah for being awesome. :)

Ah, I definitely remember this day. It was the first rididculously nice day, I think, or at least the first one I was able to take advantage of [damn you 2.007 for taking away all of my time from 8:30-4:30 most days]. Anyway, I remember I just sat at a picnic table outside and listened to music, made a couple changes because of the weather and its effect on my mood. The last song in particluar is just really absurd and stuff, but it seemed perfect with the circumstances. :)
